I built a game this weekend for LudumDare28

This weekend, I decided to participate in LudumDare28, a weekend game dev challenge. Everyone gets told the theme, and has 48 hours to build a game related to that theme. This year’s theme was “You only get one.” I decided I wanted to make a simple little Javascript-driven game, because I’m trying to improve my Javascript skills. I also only had Friday night and some time on Sunday to dedicate towards the competition.

I build You only get one job and you hate it., a game about working in a boring faceless office, and finding ways to spend your time. It’s similar to games like Cookie Clicker, where you just click different things to spend your time.

It’s a stupid little game, but I had fun making it!
