Software, tools, and things I use and recommend.

  • 14” MacBook Pro

I'm an Apple fanboy and I love this laptop. It's the perfect size and it's super powerful. Battery life is great and it stays cool even when I'm running a million things at once.

  • Vortex Pok3r 60% Keyboard

I love this keyboard so much I have two of them. At first I was worried about the lack of buttons and the small size, but with layers and mappings I can do everything at lightning speed.

  • Razer DeathAdder v2 Gaming Mouse

I've mapped the buttons to do things like switch spaces, open Mission Control, and switch between apps. If you haven't tried a gaming mouse for development, you're missing out.

Development tools

  • Visual Studio Code

I've used Sublime Text, PHPStorm, Vim, and everything in between. Visual Studio Code is my favorite. It's fast, has a ton of great plugins, and is super customizable.

  • iTerm2

A hotkey to quickly toggle your terminal is a game changer.

  • Kaleidoscope

Fantastic diff tool that easily integrates with Git.

  • Bruno

A relatively new tool that I've been using for a bit. It's a replacement for Postman and I'm loving it.

  • 1Password

    I can't imagine my life without 1Password. It's a must-have.

  • Arc from The Browser Company

Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without Arc. It's a fantastic browser that's got a ton of great features.

  • Alfred

I've been using Alfred for years. I have so many custom workflows and actions that make my life so much easier.

  • BetterTouchTool

Another app that without it, I'd be lost.

  • Fantastical

Great calendar app that I use on all my devices. Adding events via natural language is such a time saver.

  • Notion

I use Notion for everything. Basically my second brain.
